Here’s your guide to the new system in 10 easy steps…
1. You can view all your upcoming tickets in the app now. Simply long press and hold the Manchester United app icon from your home screen and select My Tickets.
2. Tap into a ticket to store it to your device before travelling to Old Trafford. When you open your ticket, you will see your stadium entrance, block, row and seat number. Your QR code will be hidden at this point and will only appear on matchday.
3. All supporters, including Season Ticket Holders, will receive a new ticket for every game. After you have attended a game, your ticket will disappear and move into the “past tickets” tab.
4. Entry works in exactly the same way as last season: simply scan your QR code at the turnstile. The only difference is your ticket is stored in the app and not your digital wallet.
5. You won’t need internet access at the stadium to see your ticket. If you’ve stored your ticket to your device, your hidden QR code will appear without the need for Wi-Fi or data connectivity.
6. If you can no longer attend a fixture, you can still use the forward, donate and resale functions – all from within the app. Please note, these options are also available online, as normal.
7. If you manage someone else’s ticket, you will need to set up a new App Ticketing relationship type to view their ticket on your mobile device. For more guidance on ticket relationships, please
8. Your tickets are locked to one phone – make sure you bring the correct device with you to Old Trafford! If you lose or break your phone, please get in touch with before arriving at the stadium on match day.
9. Make sure you are on the latest app version (10.4.22) and update your app when prompted. Or why not turn on auto-updates and enable push notifications?
