Yoro shares an upbeat message with supporters

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has posted a positive message to supporters after successfully undergoing surgery on his ankle injury.

It was reported on Monday that the , and we look forward to the 18-year-old returning to fitness in around three months.

Using his official social-media accounts, Yoro has now shared an update with fans.

“This is not the start I wanted, but that’s football,” writes the Frenchman.

“The operation went well. Thank you for your many messages of support.

“Now, time for patience and rehabilitation work. See you soon, stronger.”

Leny also posted a photo of a page from the bible, showing the words:

“Jesus replied, you do not realise now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has today had a successful surgery on his foot injury.

Our summer signing from Lille sustained the injury during the team’s recent friendly match against Arsenal in Los Angeles, USA.
