Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Dani Ceballos, he has been diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle. His progress will be monitored.

The team trained for the first time this week at Real Madrid City. The players available to Carlo Ancelotti trained alongside several players from the youth team in a session that started with a warm-up session. They then did rondos, ball circulation exercises and some demanding pressing work. The training session came to an end with a number of small-sided games.

Ceballos began his recovery work, while AlabaBellingham and Camavinga continued with their respective rehabilitation programmes. The next game for Real Madrid is against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena (Saturday 14 September, 9pm CEST).

Real Madrid basketball team got the 2024/25 pre-season underway. Following medical examinations at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital-Ana de Austria Building, the players worked out in the pavilion at Real Madrid City under the direction of Chus Mateo. The session started with stretching and physical work in the gym and ended with ball exercises on the court and shooting at the basket.

Coming up for our team are three pre-season friendlies. They will play against Benfica on Saturday 7th September at La Granadilla de Badajoz (8pm CEST); against Monaco on Wednesday 11th September at the Municipal Sports Pavilion in Pontevedra (8pm); and against Openjobmetis Varese on Saturday 14th September at the Menorca Pavilion (7:30pm). The official season will begin one week later, on Saturday 21 September, with the semi-final of the Endesa Super Cup in Murcia against Barcelona (6:30pm).
